Established in 1970 as a family-owned business with the focus on corrugated production, Wepa Verpackungen has steadily expanded its portfolio over the last half a century. Production meanwhile takes place at 4 sites covering a total area of 15,000 square meters, with storage capacity for several thousand standard products and nearly as many customized solutions. The motto for our daily work: “Pack, supply and improve”.

The foundation for this family-owned business was laid by Walter Dietzel in 1936 as a trading company for kraft, wrapping and coloured paper. During the early sixties, a series of innovative packaging products were launched in the German market by Wepa. In 1969, the firm branched out into a new segment with the construction of a production facility for corrugated packaging. Various special solutions were developed by Wolfgang Dietzel to meet the increasingly stringent packaging and logistical requirements in the furniture and car industries. Wepa became a founding member of PackSynergy AG with the aim of strengthening its national and international activities.
